The first thing I looked at was the number of books, Four. Afterwards I decided to start this new dystopian adventure full of racism, love, friendship and injustices, but the ending that kind of shocked me has made me change my mind... I don't think I will continue... well at least for now.

I fell in love with this book right away! It's not just about a love story, actually the whole love story is not even the centre of this story, we know there is love between the two main characters, Sephy and Callum, and we actually root for them even knowing there won't be an happy ending.

This book is about a world full of racism, a reality that we decive in beliving is far far away. That is so not true, and it's not just about black and white, it's not about being african or asian, european or austrian. These are just some etiquettes that are used on deviding a population that just shouldn't be devided. There are still so many prejudices that surrond women, homosexuals, disabled, shy people, exuberant people, rich people and poor people... and on and on.

This book is about hope... That is, we know, all that is left. Hope synonym of LOVE. Without love we're just lost and there is no point in living.

I wanted to punch the wall so many times while reading this book because what mankind has gone through in ages is so unfair, it doens't matter if the coin is flipped and black ruled the world... it doesn't give back what our fathers and granfathers and grangranfathers have lost... their humanity

This book is so deep and just makes our heart cry!

I so don't want history to repeat itself... we've had our conquerors, our holy rollers, our kings and queens, our dictators... we've had it. But it's still not enough. We turn on the telly and we see other fanatics that want to tear down the world in which we live in, we see children killing each other with no morals, we see homosexuals isolated and not accepted beacause "different".

Difference

Who are we to decide who is different? Who are we to decide that what's different must automatically be bad? What a presumption! What a fu**** up society do we live in???

Sorry. I didn't want this to a be a critique, but that's exactly what this book is about and that's why I loved it so much. This author, with her gentle and hard style, just captures our souls and isn't soft on crushing our hearts.

Con la laurea letteralmente alle porte in questo periodo non ho avuto modo di leggere molto, se non shojo, che non richiedono una certa predisposizione mentale. Purtroppo non ho avuto modo neppure di tenermi aggiornata ed in contatto con gli amici di goodreads e ciò mi rattrista molto... Ma tra poco sarà tutto finito, finalmente ed avrò modo di rifarmi.

Ho letto questo libro dopo un mese di allontanamento totale dal mondo letterario. Non un libro degno della Rowell a mio avviso, beh non che io sia un'esperta dei suoi libri avendo letto solo Fangirl ed una storiella natalizia... ma comunque non mi ha emozionato come Fangirl. Molto carino comunque e dolce ma vi era qualcosa che mancava alla protagonista. 3.5 stelle per un testo che mi ha tenuta compagnia in un giorno snervante. Mi sa che devo riprendere la mano con le recensioni... questa non solo è troppo breve ma pecca di tutti i dettagli succulenti che rende una recensione degna di essere letta...

A beautiful plot... I just loved this series so musch,,, I think it's officially my fav manga right now. Love, friendship, myth, transformations, fighting, Kyo! I just loved it lovedi and I loved the love story between Kyo and Tohru!!!

I'll get back to this review... fruits basket deserves a great review!

okay this volume was great, just loved it! I'm loving this manga ^^

At first it was kind of strange... slice of life with a little bit of weirdness... but after volume 1 it gets so much better ^^ so many feels!!!

It was okay, could have been so much better... oh well :(

There are so many things to say about this book that I just have no idea where to start! I liked/disliked the whole book! Every single character just seemed so messed up that I couldn't stand em! Everything was so wrong that it scared me, and at a certain point I started to doubt my own moral and started to ask myself "Mabye you're the one who doesn't get whats happening, maybe you're the one with bad morals... Are they really that bad?" But the answer would always be one:

Yes
YES
Yes!!!! They are all messed up!!!

I hate lies, in my life I can't stand people that lie for a living, that become their own lies! I know that the truth sometimes can hurt but I always prefer it over some sweet/sour lie. People get tangled up in their own lies in ways that is seems impossible to get freed, to see where the truth starts and the lie ends.

The characters here are manipulating weirdos that are just obsessed with one another in a sick way! They're so wrong that I hated the fack that everything they were doing and saying felt right!

From the very start I knew that Caleb did NOT have amnesia. I do belive in destiny, I hold on tight to my destiny flag and swing it often! I belive in fairy tales and all that, but sometimes its just not destiny and not even coincedences that make things happen. But choices, choices made by calculating and scheming.

The love between Caleb and Olivia was kind of sick and possissive, but it was theirs to hold on to. It was the mirror of who they were and what they wanted from eachother. You can't have pure love if your broken inside. But even though they SO did not deserve an happy ending I wanted them to find peace with eachother. And grow old and "good" together! LoL.

And then what was up with that ending??? He is not dad why are you turning around and seeing him wink at you under the tree??? That part was like "WTF?!" and it really gave me chills and creeped me. No sence.

Well I guess I'm really curious now so I will be starting book two soon, even if I'm not entusiastic about Leah's POV... oh well we'll see. I kind of got spoiled on the ending of the whole series so I don't have a certain egerness to find out what happens but I'm sure curious to know how it happens.

Only four books left... already starting to feel bad! I so do not want to finish this saga... After 14 years that I've been waiting... to find the courage to start this saga and surpass my "trama" and now I just can't stand the idea of finishing!!!!!

This book IS AMAZING!!! I loved the first two but this one was MIND Blowing! I just loved it

And then there is Sirius Black... you just can't help not falling in love with Harry's father best friend! Locked up in the worst prison of all Azkaban for 12 years! :(((



This book just amazes you and keeps your eyes enchanted on every single page! An adventure that we live, that we fight for! Rowling's style is just ... Mind blowing!



Una saga che non fa altro che migliorare, che non fa altro che tenermi incollata alle pagine e trasmettermi un milione di emozioni! Stupenda! Per ora questo libro è il mio preferito anche se ho amato ed adorato anche i primi due! E' molto difficile scegliere in realtà, semplicemente questo mi ha completamente rapita!
